I haven’t listened to any new music extensively for a month or so now. It’s really nice to listen to music that I’ve been listening to for years, or listening to bands that have been growing on me a lot and listening to them more (Like Typhoon and Other Lives). I think I’ll post a little more about this later. Lots of thoughts mulling around my head lately on this subject.

Just watched my brother open up for Ravello and Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes at the same venue I’ll be seeing Other Lives at in 15 days. I’d never been to this venue before, but let me tell you…it’s small, has a low stage, good sound, and lots of good places to sit. I am getting pretttty excited for this show.

Well...

Tomorrow I begin classes at the community college. I feel like I should be sad or annoyed that homework and all that stuff is gonna start…but for some reason, I don’t care. I feel desensitized to it for some reason I think. I like this whole looking forward to the future thing…thoughts of being in Chicago this summer are nice. We shall see though. High hopes.
