Summer.
[[MORE]] I want to write down some things I am excited about for this summer. I generally feel like my summers are rather boring, but this one is bound to be good. This post is probably for me more than anything, so sorry if it’s rather boring.. haha.  •Bonnaroo. This is pretty obvious, but I am seriously so excited. It’s going to be a crazy experience. I could go on and on.  ...

It was a benefit concert and they raised money to send them to an extremely prestigious Jazz competition in New York City, Essentially Ellington. When Justin went to Memorial High and played in the jazz band, he also went….They did a cover of a Frank Sinatra song and mother of God, he sounded like...

summary of the weekend.  [[MORE]] I’m back from a great weekend away.  I am looking forward to this summer like none other. I think it’s going to be great. By the way, I prematurely said I’d be in Chicago… I reassessed that after talking to more people and I’m going to stick around St. Louis for a bit longer (unless some crazy incredible opportunity pops up...

Tonight’s adventures included going to one of the biggest and oldest trees in Missouri that is in a big open field to watch the meteor showers with a big group of people. Then on our drive back we listened to The Tallest Man On Earth. It was quite nice.

Leaving soon to take a bus to Columbia where all of my best friends are…it’s like an exciting vacation, except not.  Then we’re camping tonight in the 38 degree weather and that will be fun because I’ll get to test out my sleeping bag and new tent.

String Section: Rob Moose & yMusic →
indieclassical: “I think the whole concept of there being ‘sides’ is becoming more and more outdated.” - Rob Moose, when asked if yMusic intends to commission new works from both pop/rock writers and contemporary classical composers Rob. What a stud.

The Wayward Canary: Bonnaroo Things that I'm... →
waywardcanary: - Hearing The Shins live for the first time. I’ve wanted to see them since high school, this has been a long time coming. Plus, James Mercer is such a cute lil’ guy. - Seeing Bon Iver for the second time. The first time was SUCH a memorable experience, seeing them again better be just as… YEA. Me and Madi are way exciteddd. I don’t know what my lineup will be like...

Does anyone work in public relations?
I have to do an interview with a PR person for my class, so if you or someone you know would be interested in answering a bunch of questions via e-mail, drop me an ask! Thanks!

ok, I can’t watch Bon Iver, I peeked for a minute, but I’ll probably just get too emotional or something because after watching for such a short time I am already getting so effing excited to see them again. Oh my gooosshhhhh. I cannot wait. I so easily forget how good they are live, it’s just nuts.

All that I’ve felt within my arms, I am weightless he ran off with it all I am speechless, all that I’ve said to get it right, And I am confident, all that I’ve known to be alive And I am gentle, you ran off with it all And I am peaceful, all that I’ve held within my arms And I am weightless, you ran off with it all And I am speechless, all that I’ve said to get it right ...

going to upload my latest film photos to flickr tonight. I’ll put them up here tomorrow. if you’re just so absolutely eager to see them tonight check my flickr in a bit.  p.s. this is my first role of black and white since staring this film endeavor, so don’t expect anything great. B&W is difficult!
